About March on the Brandywine

The Cavalcade of Bands (CBA) is one of several sanctioning bodies for marching band field contests in the Mid-Atlantic States. Established in the 1950s, it hosts a great number of local competitions around the state. CBA holds it championships each year in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

Unionville High School Marching Band is relatively new to the CBA. However in the last few years of competing the band has won quite a few first place trophies, won a National Championship in 2007 in Jacksonville, Florida, and the CBA State Championship Liberty A Division in 2008.

March on the Brandywine, Cavalcade of Bands competition is being hosted by the Unionville Marching Band on their home field. This is the second year in a row Unionville High School is hosting this competition. The staff, students and parents are very excited to be part of this event.
